This yarn is thick and chunky with a soft velour-like feel that screams squishable! It is 100% polyester microfiber and considered a super bulky, category 6, yarn weight.

There are currently 30+ colors available of the solid and currently 8 colors of the print. Both versions are 131yds/120m in length and 3.5oz/100g in weight. The suggested hook size is 7mm and the suggested needles size is 6mm.

My Experience

I used this yarn for amigurumi, as I feel it mimics chenille yarn for less than the typical price. My intended project was the Spongebob jellyfish; I was very new to amigurumi and decided to make my own pattern. Long story short, I ended up with a dinosaur egg, which my boys happen to love.
